OTSO Challenge Salou has been recognized with two nominations in the Challenge Family Race Awards 2023. It has the opportunity to win the “Best Race Venue” award and revalidate the “Most Family-Friendly Race” award from the previous year.
The Challenge Family Awards were established in 2019 to reward race organizers, volunteers and everyone who helps create unforgettable experiences for athletes around the world.
Athlete voice is very important to Challenge Family and nominations for each category were decided on the strength of athlete feedback in the post-race surveys that are sent out after each Challenge Family race. The categories are:

- Best Swim Course
- Best Bike Course
- Best Run Course
- Best Fans
- Best Finish Line Party
- Best New Race
- Best Pasta Party
- Best After-Race Food
- Most Eco-Friendly Race
- Most Family-Friendly Race
- Race of the Year
Voting for the Challenge Family Race Awards 2023 is at challenge-family.com/awards/ and closes at 23:59pm CEST on Sunday 17 December 2023.
The winners will be announced on Friday 26 January 2024 at our annual Global Race Director Meeting.
