One month before the big day, the international triathlon on the Costa Daurada is nearing a sell-out, with the Short Distance already full and the goal of 1,000 participants in sight
With exactly one month to go until Challenge Salou 2025, the international triathlon heads into its final stretch with record-breaking figures. The Short Distance is now sold out, and only 100 slots remain for the Middle Distance, the only category still open. If filled, Challenge Salou will reach 1,000 registered triathletes.
The event will take place from May 9 to 11, and will be the fourth race in the Spanish Triathlon Federation’s National Ranking for Middle and Long Distance in 2025. It’s a very special edition, recently awarded Best Bike Course at the 2024 Challenge Family Awards, and includes a full programme of activities to celebrate ten years of triathlon in Salou.
Starting Friday, May 9, participants will enjoy three exciting days of sport, an Expo fair, side events, and the official presentation of the 10th anniversary. The big race day is set for Sunday, May 11, with the Middle Distance taking center stage.
All triathletes crossing the finish line will receive a special edition finisher t-shirt, made from sustainable materials and designed exclusively to celebrate this milestone and the race’s core values of effort and commitment.
In addition, for this anniversary edition, Challenge Salou joins forces with PortAventura World, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025. Thanks to this partnership, all registered participants will receive a 2-for-1 pass to the theme park, valid throughout the 2025 season.
Full details on the official schedule, the finisher t-shirt, the collaboration with PortAventura World, and the official accommodation are now available in the News section of the Challenge Salou website.
