Prize Money

All participants who reach the finish line will receive a Finisher medal as a reward for their success.

Only triathletes registered in the PRO category will qualify for cash prizes.

The cash prizes for the Middle Distance amount to a total of € 25,000 for the top 6 finishers (men and women).

Cash prizes will be paid according to the position of the general classification.
Cash rewards will be applied according to current legislation.

PRO Family Challenge License
Current letter from the federation of your country, certifying that you are a professional athlete *.
* During the last two years.

The Challenge Salou – Costa Daurada 2026 race weekend will also host two official competitions within the calendar of the Catalan Triathlon Federation (Federació Catalana de Triatló):

• Aquathlon Distance – Catalonia National Club Championship
• Middle Distance – Catalonia National Absolute Triathlon Championship

Aquathlon Distance

Catalonia National Club Championship

The Aquathlon Distance, taking place on Saturday, will be the Catalonia National Club Championship.

Club rankings will be determined by adding the times of the three best aquathletes from each club, according to the regulations of the Catalan Triathlon Federation, in both men’s and women’s categories.

Club Prize Money

1st Club — €250
2nd Club — €150
3rd Club — €100

Fastest Segment Awards

There will also be awards for the fastest athlete in each segment, in both men’s and women’s categories:

• Fast Swim
• Fast T1 (Transition)
• Fast Run

Individual Overall Classification

Trophies and gifts will be awarded to the top three finishers in both men’s and women’s categories.

Open and Pairs Categories

In addition to the Catalonia Championship, the race will include open categories for non-federated athletes.

Middle Distance

Catalonia National Absolute Triathlon Championship

The Middle Distance race on Sunday will host the Catalonia National Absolute Triathlon Championship.

The classification will be determined individually, based on the final time at the finish line, for both men and women.

Catalonia Championship Prize Money

1st Place — €350
2nd Place — €250
3rd Place — €150

Prize amounts are the same for men and women.

In order to receive the prize money, athletes must be present at the official awards ceremony. Otherwise, the prize will not be paid and the award will remain vacant.

For the Short Distance, trophies will be awarded to the first three places overall, both in the female and male categories.

For the Middle Distance, trophies will be awarded to the first place in each of the following age categories, both for men and women:

18-24 years
25-29 years
30-34 years
35-39 years
40-44 years
45-49 years
50-59 years
60-65 years
Over 65 years

Only the following relay teams will have a trophy:
