A decision that has been made after analyzing all the circumstances and seeing the impossibility of being able to carry out this important event with all the guarantees.<\/p>\n<p>In the current context, it has been observed that it was not possible to go ahead with the 2020 edition. According to the organization, an event with circuit restrictions, without an audience, without parallel activities, without ceremonies, would become too different a show. This is a difficult decision, but also the most responsible and sensible.<\/p>\n<p>Jort Vlam, CEO of <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>FAMILY<\/em>, argues that \u201cit is sad to have to cancel <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>SALOU<\/em> 2020, but unfortunately it is the only and the most correct option to keep our athletes and their families safe. We are happy that <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>SALOU<\/em> offers very fair cancellation options, especially taking into account the moment in which the cancellation occurs\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Jort wants to thank the <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>SALOU<\/em> team, the city, the government team and the sponsors, for the effort made until the last minute to be able to celebrate this triathlon event. He also wants to thank the athletes for trusting with the <em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0franchise, looking forward to seeing them again in Salou on October 2nd\/3rd, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>CHALLENGE<\/strong>SALOU<\/em> recognizes the trust of the people who had planned to participate this year and apologizes for all the changes that have occurred in recent months due to the health crisis.
